About This Recruitment
The National Testing Agency will conduct the Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Examination (RMS CET)-2026 for admission to Class VI and IX in the five Rashtriya Military Schools (Chail, Ajmer, Dholpur, Belgaum and Bengaluru) for the academic year 2027-2028.
Eligibility Criteria
For Class VI: candidate must have passed or be studying in Class V and pass before admission, age 10-13 years as on 31 March 2027. For Class IX: candidate must have passed Class VIII from a government/recognized school, age 13-16 years as on 31 March 2027. Admission only as Boarders; no day scholars allowed.
Selection Process
OMR-based written exam (English, Intelligence Test, Mathematics, GK for Class VI; Paper 1 & Paper 2 for Class IX) followed by medical examination and interview; final merit list based on cumulative written exam and interview marks, subject to vacancies.
